While she is nice and not a harsh grader, she slacked off in class a lot by not teaching. If you're a student that doesn't care about learning French and just wants to pass, then she's probably the perfect teacher. If you like French, she is frustrating. She also doesn't teach. If you want more explanation, she'll point to the book for explanation.

She is one of the nicest professors on campus. She is very intelligent, humorous and professional about the subject that she is teaching. Her quizzes and exams are not difficult if you go to class and study for them. Take her for foreign language classes! She is a very lovely lady!

Nosy, unorganized and disrespectful towards students when in a bad mood. Very small class size makes it awkward when a student would be confronted in front of everyone- hope you have thick skin and absolutely love French- you'll need both after dreading this class!

I was dreading taking Spanish because I struggled with it in high school, but Sra. Peterson made the experience extremely enjoyable. She is just a fun and outgoing professor who also knows how to effectively teach Spanish. She's not too tough of a grader, either. Highly recommended!

She was very noisy, wanted to know all about your personal life... which was justified because it is asked in French. She definitely has favorites- and will act upon her mood swings~ watch out! She is extremely unorganized, caddy and doesn't teach! I absolutely love French and was very disappointed. If you can, try and avoid her all together.

nice woman but its true- you ask her qs sometimes and she turns to a book. Eng isn't her 1st language either so sometimes she isn't right concerning translations. But she means well and consults the native French profs to get the best answer. I would say that she is the hardest grader in the Fr department. She's very nice and cares about us. i still like her class

Worst French professor-just because someone can speak a language doesn't mean they can teach it. Ask this woman to clarify something and she acts confused and turns to the text book. Beware of her accent-you'll swear she's saying "le" the first time then repeats the same thing saying "la"- fricken frustrating!

She's really fun and lets you have fun in this class. I hear she's much more hardcore with her 152 class though. I found this class hard but that's because French is hard for me. On the plus side I learned more French this semester then I ever have. It's a GE folks, but she really did make it fun
