One of the best teachers I've had. Even after transfering to a UC school and meeting other great history professors, Manson remains at the top of my list. He knows his stuff, makes class fun, and is a fair grader. Take him if you can.

Probably the best teacher I have ever encountered in college. He genuinely cares and has a attitude that makes you actually want to attend class. Quizzes are for extra credit and the midterm and final are scan tron with a short essay. This guy can speak several languages including the African Clicking language which is awesome to hear.

I loved him! He was an awesome teacher. You can tell he really loves what he is teaching! All the quizzes are extra credit and the tests aren't too difficult as long as you study, he even gave us review sheets before every test.

awesome teacher! Has a zeal for this subject and can get anyone interested. Brings personal experience in by telling about places he's been and showing slides. He even has his own little study guide for the class--BUY THIS! (it's everything you need--vs. the big textbook) You can tell this guy loves what he's doing.
