Her experience level is very high and does not understand that everyone else has high experience levels. Goes through classwork very quickly and does not seem to explain very clearly.

What a sweet lady. Definitely the best professor to take for Calc II; her tests are by far the most reasonable and fair in the department.

Shannon is a sweet lady, but I had a very hard time understanding her. She is almost too smart to teach MAT 140 because her experience level is high. She does try to beas helpful as possible, but I had a hard time with my grades in her class. If possible, I would try to take someone else who clarifies the class better.t

Shannon is a very helpful lady if you ask for it outside of class. Her classes are very difficult however, as she relies to much on an outdated textbook and teaches in such a way that only higher-level CS students would understand.

Christine Shannon is very nice and tries to explain things to the best of her ability but she is almost too smart to teach math 140. She doesn't know how to teach the content in a way that you will understand. Very hard to follow.

Very very organized and helpful, especially if you put in some effort. Literally replies to emails within 15 minutes, even on the weekend and even if you attached some code that you can't get working. To be frank, most of the negative reviews probably reflect the level of understanding by the reviewers of CS/MAT than the quality of the professor.

Not the best teacher in the world but is always willing to help. We sometimes covered new material in the last 2 minutes of class. Homework is graded on a ridiculous accuracy scale.

The senior math tutor does a better job teaching than she does. She tries to go over new material with literally 1 minute left in the class then assigns a full night of homework on it. Homework is graded on accuracy most of the time....so make sure you don't mess up when practicing! i was confused the entire semester.

She is no help when you have a problem with a program and will claim that your program does one thing when you know for a fact it doesn't. She also loves to read code in class, the kind where you have to see it running to understand it. Also has no idea how computers function anymore.

Very confusing lady. Classes are longer than most (by design) and she lectures from start to finish. Turns a dynamic major into an extension of math craziness. Each of her classes is a letdown.

In her own little world. Have strict schedule that cannot change. Noone understands what she is talking about most of the time, and when asked a question never answers it. No help in finding coding errors, and argues about what your code does, even if you prove to her what it does.
