This is the worst math teacher I have EVER had. She stays confused all the time. I have actually asked her questions that she has not been able to answer (and on more than one occasion. I am very lucky that I am just taking this class as a refresher. She is willing to help, but how can you ask help from somone just as confused as you are??

Overall Ms. Stockwell is a good math teacher and an easy class. She goes over everything and it's right out the book. The class is boring and she goes over new info at the start of class then gives you a quiz on the old info at the end of the class, kind of confusing. Attendance is a must.

Very hard professor. She refuses to go over the homework/questions from last class until she teaches the new lesson/material. Quizzes daily+ 8 tests. If you are bad in Math, I would not recommend her. She will let you retake tests and you better come to every class. Only passed 7 students from our class.

This teacher was just as confused as I was alot of the times.Kept writing on the board and then eracing cause she wasn't sure of thecorrect problem procedure. She doesnt allow time for ques.or discussion.I spent most of my time at the learning center cause i did not learn anything in class.she is very fast.not recomeneded if you dont know much math

I recommend this teacher if you are terrible at math. She teaches in away that is understandable, and she doesn't go so fast you can't keep up. She is willing to help you before and after class and gives a quiz every class day which really helps prepare you for the chapter tests.

HORRIBLE!! she is so boring, half the time she says one thing and writes another and copies things from the book wrong. students are usually asking questions based on her inability to copy things correctly and she just confuses people. only take her if you already understand this math. it is easy with no homework she checks but must have attendanc

Extremely helpful to me. However, other students stated she was confusing because she taught a different way than what we were shown in the DVDs we were instructed to use. I used both the professional and the DVDs and found the combination of both very insightful.

Great teacher. Very helpfull. She will make time before and after calss to go more in depth if needed. She is fast pased. If you suck at math and take her class you might want to go to math lab for additional help from tutorers. Good teacher

If you suck at math, she is not reccomended. She goes through the chapters real fast, and doesn't explain anything good. I had to withdraw b/c half the time I didn't know what she was saying. She also gives quizzes DAILY.

Mrs. Stockwell is a great teacher. She takes time with those who want to learn. She must go at a fast pace, to teach the material, but makes sure you are learning by quizing you. Great motivator. I would definately recommend her!

Mrs. Stockwell is the best math teacher that I have ever had. She takes time to make sure that everyone understand all concepts and she truly wants everyone to pass the exit exam. This past semester ALL of her students did pass the exit exam. Age does not matter when you know your stuff.

She is not a very good teacher. She doesn't remember what she's saying, and she always writes down the wrong answers and tells us it's okay, to just do it. I don't understand anything that she tries to teach, and I will never take a class with her again. She's crazy.

She is a little hard to understand at first, and she looses her train of thought. Overall though she is great and wants you to do well. I really enjoyed her class, plus we left early ever night.
