I didn't like Impinna very much, but the majority of the class did not agree with me. He seemed condescending and not very helpful. Difficult to prepare for tests - DON't use the study guides, they were always missing things. If he offers any extra credit - DO IT, it saved my grade. Try not to annoy him & watch out for the lab practicals!

Dr I is the best. He know the material inside and out, is very passionate about the topic and is very approachable. If you have trouble understanding something getting help is easy. The class really isn't that hard, there is just a ton if information so if you fall behind it can seem impossible to catch up. No cumulative final was a major plus.

Dr. I is an amazing teacher. He genuinely LOVES to teach and it brilliantly educated in the field. He shows a true interest in animals and the evolution of different phyla. Be prepared though, because he will work your butt off. Tests are tough so dont take this class if you are a slacker.

If you are lucky enough to have the opportunity to take this class with Dr. I. then by all means do it. You'll learn a lot about animals by studying them "hands on" through dissections. He gives lecture notes, powerpoint slides, etc. so that you can concentrate in listening instead of taking notes.

Although I took him a few years ago, I find that he was one of the best professors I've ever had. If you study the material in detail, then you should do well. If you're looking for a challenge, then this is your class. Learn a bunch of new information!
