Awesome professor! Lectures can sometimes be dreary, but I mostly attribute that to this class being a requirement and not an option. Two essays, a couple quizzes, and some pop quizzes, but none of them were too challenging. Everything on the tests is directly from the notes or reading questions. Overall, a fair teacher and very understanding guy.

Best professor I've ever had. Talk to him outside of class, he's really cool. Class material is very engaging but quizzes are sometimes too specific and he does grade essays too intensively. Most people will probably take his classes as a requirement but you can get alot out of them.

Lots of reading, also extremely hard grader on things. Despite it being a religion class he took off points for comma errors on papers, I think that's unfair since we aren't all English majors. A few pop quizzes throughout the semester. Majority of the time nice and caring for his students. Overall, super tough grader.

Prof Ives is overall a great guy! His class is pretty straightforward. Total of 3 papers, 2 quizzes, and a few "pop" quizzes. Quizzes are subjects we cover in class. He is willing to help you through his office hours and is really clear on what he wants in his papers. I recommend him for religion!

TAKE HIS CLASS!! Literally the best professor I've had at Stonehill so far and that I think I'll have. I hated religion before this but he makes the class fun and one I enjoyed going to. No religion is pushed on you by any means, he's easygoing, acts way younger than he is, and is genuinely interested in helping his students. I would take him again

AMAZING professor. Extremely smart. Very personable and approachable. He makes a clear effort to get to know his students. He makes class fun and interesting. He doesn't let you out early but it doesn't matter because class is fun and it goes by really fast. My favorite professor hands down. Take any class with him. You won;t regret it!

interesting, fair guy who looks and acts a lot younger than he is, which is obviously a good thing... he and his class are fair in every aspect - reading amount, grading, etc... there was a midterm, a final, a few short papers, and a large research paper... he doesn't miss a class or let out early, but knows everyone's name - cares about students
