Luchs is entertaining but really doesn't explain ACC at all. If you have a hard time with ACC you will probably fail miserably, if you are good at ACC you still aren't guaranteed a good grade. I would rather see him at the funny bone than teaching my accounting class.

If youre lookin to take luchs, youve got to be willing to do all the readings and actually work hard out of class if youre tryin to get an A or B. He doesnt explain problems well AT ALL! he is real funny and the class goes by fast cuz he makes class pretty fun...basically hes a cool guy but when it comes down to accounting, hes not a good professor

I struggled! Luchs is halarious in class but doesn't explain the mechanics behind ACC at all. YOU HAVE TO READ THE BOOK TO UNDERSTAND! Breezes through material quickly and then leaves it to the class to attempt several problems thus you forget VERY quickly. Other assignments help with the grade but tests are hard, especially multiple choice.

Doesn't really explain how things work very well, just flips through slides and shows you how to work problems in the easiest way (which means you'll forget how to do the problems after you get out of the class). Pretty easy though. Oh, and he is nice enough to provide review sections which are helpful.

Luchs is the best professor I ever had. He likes to make you think on your own. The only thing I donĂ¢€™t like about him is the public speaking he requires, but he does have good intentions behind them. He is a teacher who tries to build confidence in you through public speaking. He has a wonderful

When this class started I really enjoyed him, but he then went downhill. He gets mad at the class when everyone doesn't understand what is going on. Got very mad that he had to spend 30 minutes of class going over a homework problem. HW problems are always assigned but are easy points.

He's a good guy, knows the material and honestly wants you to know it too. He will help you, but it's not that hard, the first test is the hardest. The hardest thing about the class is sitting there that long if you only have the class once a week.

Coach Luchs was a great teacher. Explained concepts in real world scenarios and encouraged participation. Knows his material inside and out. The only thing he must learn is to fold the weakest full-house at the table!

If you think Luchs is hard, you're crazy! Next to Forget, he is the easiest, nicest, and overall best accounting professor. In fact, those are probably the only two who are good, but that's another subject. His humor was great (he pokes fun at WV).

Horrible. I know I'm the only one writing a bad comment, & NO I didn't fail the course. But this guy expects you to know how 2 do the problem before he even teaches it.He has very dry humor & it gets annoying.Going 2 his office is a waste of time as well.
