Comment:
Prof. Manfredi is the Dean of Arts, so he's not the typical prof. He'll miss class to go meetings, or travel to other universities. He's a great guy, and you learn a lot in his class. Class is based on reading the novels you get, otherwise you'll be lost. He also shows a lot of videos which is nice. He'll help with your term paper! (No Exams!)

Professor Manfredi is the Dean of Arts now, but he taught the FYS this year and it was a fantastic class. He's incredibly intelligent, funny, and an excellent teacher. Class time was spent discussing readings and watching well chosen clips from campaigns.Grading was 15% attendance, 30% participation, and 55% term paper. No exams!

i think he's the dean of arts now, so he's not teaching, but... great prof, great class. Idealy, all poli sci profs would be as clear, nice and genuine as this one. Material is interesting considering its a intro to judicial law class. im not going into law, but i was certainly interested. i hope he'll teach this class again soon- for your sake

Really solid Prof. Lectures are good, makes the material interesting, reasonable difficulty. He's not the flashiest guy but he's just a real good teacher. Dresses well too.

Comment:
Manfredi is an excellent professor and very knowledgable. His lectures are clear and interesting. There is very little reading for this class compared to mmost 300 level poli sci courses at McGill. The exams are very resonable and the paper is quite short. I recommend this class if you are intested in law and/or Canadian politics

Professor Manfredi is really good. His classes are interesting and thought-provoking. The grading scheme is fair and his exams are perfectly reasonable. For those interested in the law, I would wholeheartedly recommend his courses.

Manfredi's class is brutally hard, but you learn a lot. If you disagree with his opinions you'll hate this class, but if you keep an open mind, it'll be fine.

Makes his exams impossible to complete in the time alloted. His classes are interesting but your mark isn't a reflection of what you know, how hard you studied, but rather how fast you can write.
