While this was a seminar (25 students), attendance, participation and effort were so, so important. Chris is enthusiastic about his study of religion, psychology and personality, and it shows in his personalized approach to class - discussion and engagement will dictate your success. Overall I am inspired by his love for learning, and I like him.

I hate this class. Ross is the biggest scatter brain ever. I never understand what the point of the lecture is because he says the most pointless stuff. Also he looks like a turtle so thats all I think about when I am in class. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS it is extremely boring. Especially if you do not like participation.

His class was easy. He's into participation so you have those people who are constantly just talking to talk, which is annoying. He never answers emails and does not like to interact with his students outside of class. He knows his stuff and if you are independent then go for it. If not save some cash and take another class.

Umm, he's not the best prof, but he's not super terrible either. Never answers emails which is annoying. Went to see him in his office once and after about 3 minutes he told me he needed to prep his lectures (my cue to leave). Awkward.

LOVE LOVE LOVE HIM! makes you want to participate in class - actually do not mind his mandatory group work. makes you interested and enthousiastic about the class even if there are like 200 pages of readings a week, its worth it!

c-ross is a pretty good guy. take these courses for easy electives if you enjoy religion. chris is pretty passionate about his displinice and likes to focus on group discussions. if you've ever visited him during office hours you'll know that he is extremely approachable and helpful. very caring man.

Um, what? I hated this class. Ross would have about 7 overheads a day, and each one would stay up on the overhead long enough for him to repeat ONE of the points on it, and then it would come down. Also, he'd be in the middle of explaining stuff and just trail off ...

Chris is Brilliant man with charming wit and an incredible understanding of humanity. You will never meet a professor who is more passionate about his work. He is incredibly dedicated to his students. It is a privelage to be a member of this fine educator's class.
