A true legend. 3 easy exams, 10 questions multiple choice for each test. They were all based on the hw questions. He cared about us and even did the hw questions in class. A new man in 2017. Class average was a 78. Legendary.

Doesn't let students know what's on exam until weekend before test. Unorganized. Terrible lecture slides. Condescending. Computer simulations are only 10% of grade and are a mess to follow. No such thing as written homework, its all exams. Your book and memorization are your best friends. Has no clue how to help students. Average score 40%

Easiest class. Just do the homework and make sure you can solve it quick. Don't know why people are complaining about this class...

Horrible! If you are a computer engineer or electrical engineer, you are stuck with him so good luck. He is very quick to judge ones character and very hard at grading exams. He does try hard to teach which is good but he isn't very good at conveying the information. His exams would be fine if his lectures taught us something.

The pacing of the class was really poor. There were times homework was due before we learned a topic.

I'm not going to say that he's a bad professor because he honestly isn't but the thing with this guy is that his course requires a substantial amount of effort and continuous studying non-stop. If you read before class and thoroughly understand the material he will make much more sense, he does move very fast in his lectures as well material.

He moves fast and if you blink for a second you'll be lost, so try reading the info before going to class. Has 4 exam versions that are not standardized for each of the three in class exams, hope you get the easy one. With graded HW and labs (simulations) you can still get the average grade with well below average exam grades.

The few things I can say about Professor Chewie that no one else has mentioned yet is that he at least try's to make jokes. Also of his three exams one will be a nightmare. Which one depends what mood he's in. But if you prove to the guy you know something and you are respectful by his terms he will throw you a point out of 100.

This guy is the Professor Snape of the EE department. He is one of those guys who believes he is a one man army against grade inflation, and uses exams to try and break the spirit of the class. You will not learn much, because the class is focused on memorization rather than application, but EE311 makes up for it

Literally cried myself to sleep over this class many times. There are 4 exams (including the final) and he takes the highest 3, you get to choose if you take the final or not as well. The homework is ridiculous, and the Labs are in Multisim and the Lab descriptions are impossible so good luck there. Memorize the lecture slides and you'll pass

Just go to class, read the textbook & slides, and make sure you understand circuits 1 & 2. He makes a great effort to explain the concepts. Don't go to his office hours and ask stupid questions, he will harass you. He was friendly with me because I asked conceptual questions. My class mates on the other hand... overall he's not bad.

Despite his authoritarian class demeanor, he is a considerate professor if you demonstrate honest effort. He took the time to personally answer (step by step) all my questions on the online discussion board. His tests are super easy, but his projects are ridiculously long. Also, in class quizzes virtually guarantee you an A.

He has a no laptop policy and makes you sit every other seat-Seems like highschool. Daily clicker questions = 25% of grade. Test questions aren't too difficult but he doesn't give you an equation sheet. Test is more about your ability to remember formulas than EE. He's pretty out there too. Not an enjoyable class
