Attendance is mandatory and if you miss one class your grade drops. He is a tough grader but does curve his tests because they are extremely hard. He does not give make up exams so try not to miss a test. There are 3 test grades, an attendance grade, and an optional extra credit. The extra credit is only 0.2 additional points. Not an easy A, BEWARE

Professor Dill makes personality of psychology very difficult. He gives 3 tests and the format is true and false from his lecture notes and multiple choice from the textbook. I did not like the format because the book often conflicts with his lectures. He is very boring and his presentation of the material is hard to understand. DO NOT TAKE HIM

This class was okay, he's a good guy and definitely interesting. However, he uses a lot of personal anecdotes that either really help or really don't. The lectures go on for a while.

This class is a hot mess, and Professor Dill takes a lot of that blame. I hate mean reviews of professors, but this class has pushed me to warn other students not to take this class. He barely knows what's going on in his class, and often has to rely on attentive students to tell him what's happening. Just... don't.

RUN. Just RUN. Incomprehensible grading system, confusing presentation of material, awful at fielding questions, and often late to class. He doesn't seem to take the class seriously at all, and not in a good way; more of a "barely trying" way. You know it's bad when the TA says he isn't be able to answer questions involving Dill's material.

I learned absolutely nothing from Dr. Dill, learned more from the TA. Strange grading that makes failing and getting an A almost impossible. Weekly quizzes based on his lectures that make no sense. Skated through the class teaching myself online. Uses FULL 3 HOURS unlike all other stats class. Please take another professor!!!!

Professor Dill is an extremely fair grader when it comes to tests. The textbook is there to help you understand the course better and Dill loves any questions students have. He gives real world examples (usually funny ones from his life), and truly cares if you understand the material given.

Dr. Dill is a horrible teacher. Yeah, he makes it easy to not fail, but it's impossible to do well! His quizzes are completely unfair unless you can remember every word he said in class. Don't take him unless your content with a c.

Horrible teacher. Talks about his family more then he explains what we need to know for the class. Tests are based on both his opinion and the textbook WHICH ARE NOT THE SAME, so good luck studying and figuring out which one he wants. This class was a complete waste of money.

Easy notch system, attendance is mandatory. Great professor and the class is stats...how fun can that really be? Overall good experience, can't complain. You cannot fail if you do some work...as long as you get a grade you can never go down. Trust me, sounds confusing but he'll explain it better lol. Take him!

The class itself was alright, Dill is a great teacher but some of the information from the class lecture was a little boring. Attendance is MANDATORY! He grades the class with a notch system so if you don't complete the attendance requirement that's one less notch for you, one grader lower. Other than that, read the text and you'll be OK.

This class is tricky... on one hand, he explains the material well, but 1/3 of the test questions come from the book, which is incredibly dry. Attendance is mandatory. Overall, he's a nice guy and pretty fair. Ask him about his college frat days

Nice guy, but lectures are somewhat unclear and boring. Doing well in this class is tricky: one third of the exam questions come straight from the textbook, and he deducts points for every single absence! If you want an A you'll need to show up every class and actually READ the textbook. If you're looking for an easy B, take him.

If you really think you are going to fail, definitely take him, he literally makes it impossible to do so. Conversely, he makes it just as impossible to get a solid A. Quizes are tricky and wind up being 40% of your grade at the end, with the final being worth 30%, and the remaining being from attendance/lab test/homework. really nice guy though.

definitely take him for stats! grades on notch system that makes it extremely easy to get at least an A-. just dont get discouraged when you have no idea what he is talking about in class or by his hard quizzes once a week- you will still get a good grade in class

Tries his hardest to make sure everyone passes. Quiz grades are extremely important to final grade. Uses a "notch" system for grading, everyone starts out with a D if you complete all the homework(s) and you can only go up from there. One of the better stats professors.

Quiz grades are key to doing well in his class. He came up with a great grading system that makes it hard to fail. Great guy and i'm happy i took the class with him because i probably would have failed if i took it with someone else.

if you suck in math & you think you will absolutely fail stats, def take it with him. the notch grading system is incredibly helpful; your grade always goes up, never gets worse. hes a great teacher & if you have s.munoz as a lab teacher, she is awesome as well. def take it as a summer course, it flew by quick & easy, but you have to do your work.
