Doc Chuck is probably my favorite professor so far at Lehigh. He is super nice and entertaining. I love going to class and hearing what Doc Chuck has to say. There is definitely a lot of reading and writing, but Doc Chuck makes it fun and interesting. He is one of the most passionate professor I have met who truly cares! We even read his own novel!

Chuck is the absolute best english professor at Lehigh. He actually makes English class interesting for college kids. Super laid back and class never lasts the full time. Usually keeps us for a max of 30 minutes and lets us go home. If you have the chance to take him please do!!!

Chuck is the man!! I have yet to meet a single student who doesn't love him. My roommate and I both had him for english freshman year and he was easily our favorite professor, hands down. He tells great stories and is such a genuine person. He even took us outside to throw paper airplanes one day because we were working hard. Take a class with him!

Chuck is a fantastic professor. I had him for English 2 and despite my initial lack of interest in the class, he made it fun and entertaining. Assignments are imaginative and diverse. If you put in effort it's not hard to get an A. He's a very laid back guy and classes feel like a fun discussion rather than a lecture. 10/10.

Everybody has to take Comp/Lit. 1&2 and if you can you need to take them with Chuck. He focused on modern Gothic LIt the semester I took Comp 2 and it opened my eyes to a new kind of literature. He's also laid-back and isn't super demanding but if you are engaged in class you won't just be wasting your time and will actually enjoy Comp 1&2.

Chuck is probably the most laid back professor you'll have at Lehigh. Loves having class outside when the weather's nice and going for walks to Main St in Bethlehem. Very passionate about teaching and very helpful with the work. Gives extensions if you need it and isn't hard on grading. He inspires you to learn something from each class.
