Honestly the worst teacher I have ever had. When asking him questions, if he ever notices, he will tell you to google it. Would rather stick hot pins in my eyes than ever have to take this class again. The class was extremely difficult. Took a 100 level class and was taught 400 level material. If your life doesn't REVOLVE around MIS you will fail

I take a couple of months to write reviews of my profs so i can really think about the experience i had with them. While in Chucks class I thought every thing we were doing was useless and had no purpose toward teaching us a greater understand of Excel andVBA. However, I am extreme proficiency in excel now because of all the random HW. TAKE HIM

You'll learn a lot in the class. Sometimes he will teach you what you need to know, but other times he makes you teach yourself. This can be really frustrating. He is super helpful if you are working with him one, but it can be hard to get his attention during work time. Overall, it is a decent class.

Dr. West's teaching style is to give you a problem, point you in the right direction, and make you solve it on your own. In the IT field, I think that this is the absolute best way to teach it. Once you get through with his class, you'll really know what you're doing. Those chapter quizes were brutal, though.

He was pretty straight forward. Made one personal website and had a group project for the final. Make sure you attend class because he uses a sign in sheet and there are sometimes chapter quizzes.. don't blow them off! Overall Dr. West is really intelligent and pretty funny, make sure you attend class regularly!

Very easy to follow. Easy to reach when in need of help on homework. Explains any questions you may have in class. Didn't really use the textbooks for this class, but came in handy on Excel portion. Tests can be intimidating, but if you know how to perform the functions asked, then you will do fine.

Great guy, fun to talk to inside of class and out, interesting, funny. Class requires a lot of work, some dedication, and a little bit of luck. While he helps a lot, you must also earn your grade. If you are just planning to sleep through class, don't take him, it won't end well.

Really fun and interesting class. Great professor to talk to about various things in class about technology and stuff. Lots of time-consuming projects though. If you try your best he'll take that into consideration (even if the project isn't complete or correct).

He's a great prof, but I've never worked so damn hard in a class in my life. I enjoyed his class, but the projects took up way too much time. You will enjoy his classes, but be prepared to work for your grade.
