I regret taking his class Intro to Neural Networks. There was no clarity in his teaching methodology and was so confusing. I used the help of my classmate (who had prior knowledge of neural networks) to finish my homeworks. He didn't even give a break during the 2.5 hour lectures.

I had Dr. Dagli in '04 for System Architecting and found the class to be a bit abstract but helpful since I could transfer what I learned in class to my job. Dagli was less of a teacher, than a moderator, as student presentations dominated the class and we had to evaluate them. This was OK but the rest of the class was boring due to his lectures.

His lectures are extremely uninteresting. All he does at his lectures is points to equations on his slides and asks the students what the equations mean. I should have never taken this class. If you treasure your sanity, stay away from taking Dagli.

I can't stand this professor; he is absolutely horrible. It is unfortunate that UMR hires people like that. His class is a waste of time. I could learn more by staring at a wall than by attending this class.

This is the WORST professor I've ever had. His slides are full of errors and so is the book. He is aware of the errors in his slides, but he doesn't fix them. Very very boring lectures. The only reason I go is to remind myself that I am still taking his class. Whatever you do don't take his class!!!

His lectures are basically just him reading his PowerPoint slides, which are almost completely copied out of the textbook. The only way to easily understand what he is doing in the class is the examples online.

Accent isn't all that hard to understand, but his voice is very monotone, and he will often talk too softly to be heard, at apparently random times. He won't take any homework unless it is e-mailed.
