THE most useless class I have ever taken. When given a writing assignment she completely contradicted what my technical report writing teacher taught us to do. Gives out pointless assignments and schedules inconvenient assemblies.

A very down to earth teacher! She connects well with her students and will be available for help most of the time. She was also my adviser for my freshman year and was a great help for picking classes etc. Her actual class is pretty easy going with maybe one or two big projects that weren't that difficult, just took some time.

I totally disagree with the person below me. Let me guess, you failed and it's her fault right? You'd practically have to be comatose in her class to fail...that is IF you went to class. I got an easy A. All you have to do is participate and know basic facts about your campus. Common sense really. the best teacher. :)

In my whole life I had not written as much as I have in the last three and a half months. Besides this, it has been a very agreeable class due to a friendly and very participative environment. Students played an important role, expressing their opinions. This helped a lot to make lessons pleasant and short.

I like her and her class. She is a good teacher and she listened when I talked to her so I could write better. She encourages everyone to bring the essays to her office or the computer lab. Homework and reading is difficult the first month but we worked on only the research project the last month.

Oakley-Paulik is a very average teacher. She has a speacial personality and might dislike you for a semester after a bad argument or something. However, she is very helpful if you need her help. She gives a lot of HW, reading, and essays. If you can I would advice taking a different teacher.
