His class was a good reason to wake up before 9am. Enjoyed going, less for the topic (since it was almost exactly like a different class I'd already taken), but because he was a great teacher and genuinely interested in my education and personal development. Had a fabulous discussion of phonetics and language changes over time.

I had a crush on him... he was so dorky and playful in class! Has a great sense of humor and is willing to make jokes about otherwise dry material. I loved talking to him in his office because he knows so much about everything!

He was very nice and helpful. Assigns a lot of work and grading is very harsh. It is impossible to get perfect scores. Must do a ton of work outside of class. He is very amusing and makes class interesting. He is fair and has a good heart. He wants everyone to understand, truly cares about you.
