ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE teacher. She's a nice lady, she really is, but she could not teach her way out of a paper bag. She makes the class EXTREMELY HARD when it doesn't have to be. The quizzes are impossible and the tests are ridiculous. AVOID THIS LADY.

Very nice person. Easy to talk to. She is very smart and therefore pretty strict in grading. Go to class even on days when there are speakers and take notes for test questions. READ THE CHAPTERS! Also, do reviews at the end of the chapters - those are very similar to the test.

She makes a great ISYS professor, it is her area of expertise. Interesting class if you are an ISYS major. She grades pretty strict but if you study and come prepared its not that hard. It all depends on how much you apply yourself to this class. Dr. R. doesnt determine your grade either way, you do. Many presenters makes it fun.

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. I mean it! She tries to make this intro class as hard as possible. Daily quizes: Everyone makes a 5 out of 20. Test: Over 500 definitions in the book, all similar but don't really mean anything. Guest speaker every other day. Sounds good.... It's not.... And pay close attention. the minute details will surely be tested

the material is difficult. dont expect to get an A if you don't do the homework directly after class and go to her with questions. make sure you review the past class's material because it will be on the quiz. you also need to ask friends for help that aren't taking her class...they'll explain things differently.

Her tests are terrible. She also does those Hitt quizzes with the infared devices. I always get all of the questions right but somehow I can never get a 10/10. She finds a way to count something wrong even though you got it right. Very stingy with giving credit when credit is due.

All I can say is WITH REGARD TO. She says it at least 20x each class. Her tests really focused a lot (too much) on definitional information and less (too little) on how to work the damn problems. Take Alguire if you have the chance!!!
