Comment:

She is a really nice person and her class is really easy. But if you are planning to take this class, be prepared to do a lot of reading. Two textbooks and loads of articles. But she grades easy on the 2 papers as well as the mid term and final was a piece of cake. Really easy class.

Comment:

She must have changed, because I agree with only the recent comment. Gradebook is up on ecompanion always, papers aren't graded hard at all. The class does require a lot of work; online readings and papers take a lot of time. But only 2 papers, 1 midterm, final is online. She does teach as if we're kids. Yells after you for leaving the lecture.

I slept through all the lectures, yet I still got a B+. The online discussions, participations are easy points. Studying the lecture notes are also helpful on exams. She grades leniently on the papers. Plus she offers alot of extra credit. With that being said there's no reason why anybody shouldn't get at least a B in this course.

She sucks! Her grading system makes no sense. Her lectures are useless and painfully boring... I dont think she is nice and I would never take her class again! Her and her TA lose grades. She's sarcastic and doesnt like when you question her grading. Exam are okay, studying is easy with Wikipedia. I wouldn't recommend anyone to take her class.

I got a D in this class, and I did all of the work. Talk about communication, this professor will tell you your passing and then fail you. Her grading system makes no sense, and your grade will change often. The final was easy. The papers were graded as if it were an english class. It takes forever to get grades back.

She is soooooo nice so nice that I feel bad even saying anything negative about her. But if you take IT103 and have a choice of professors- DO NOT TAKE HER. The class is so boring and is all common sense. The final was on the computer and took 5-10min to do. You didn't even have to read any of the articles to pass this class. 2 papers and 2 exams.

Teaches the class like your in 2nd grade...everything is pretty much handed to you...the midterm took me 9 minutes to complete and I got a B or B+ on it...the final was gonna be essay but then she changed it to take home, multiple choice and gives us 24 hours to do it...I didn't buy books or read for the class, and studying can be done on Wikipedia

I wish I knew what the class was about. She is a very nice and helpful professor, but all the articles we read have NOTHING to do with the course {As far as I can tell!}. Why we read two chapters on the history of bicycles and have to tell the difference between cyborgs and androids is beyond me.

Tries to incorporate as many KM techniques as possible in her class. Small group discussions, online classes, nominal group techniques, etc. So she gets some points for effort. However, would have liked more class discussion & more dynamic class vibe. Class pace was too slow for a lot of people--may be due to her Midwest background. Good dresser.

Excellent teacher.I have her this semestar and would recommend her to anyone. She is nice, helpful and very kind. Anyone who gives her a bad rating must have done poorly on a paper. You will learn in her class be prepared to do the work.

Great professor! Very clear and helpful. She made the subject interesting, and kept the class lively, for the most part. The textbook, though long and at times boring, is really useful for the IT field. Prof is understanding, and nice to boot.
