She's an easy grader and very sweet. Tends to be in la la land a lot. However, the class was helpful. The tests are word for word from the quizzes.

Comment:

Slow to respond to emails, the schedule changed almost weekly, we were sometimes given as little as a day or two to complete a paper (especially annoying if you have another class or a job). Assignments were overall easy, but she should be a lot more aware and considerate of the short time given for a summer class.

Dr Novosad was out sick for half the semester, so they turned it into an 8 week course. This class satisfied W requirement, too. I thought she was very fair with her grading. Her instructions were complicated, but she wasnt a stickler about folliwing them perfectly. I loved her class.

Class was okay, we had to start class after spring break because Professor was sick beginning of the semester. She is very disorganized and assignments/paper instructions are confusing. Too many papers to do in a short amount of time due to her absence. I would not take her again.

Dr N is completely disorganized. This class was a hybrid and even though that was the case, there was very little information actually online. The assignments sometimes had very little direction about what she wanted. Class was also cancelled multiple times throughout the semester for one reason or another. Also, she almost never answered emails.

I was motivated to go to attend every class, very enjoyable! Most of the class was online. Class consisted of group discussions, short lectures, and exams. Most of the work submitted on blackboard. 3 page paper due every week on your Virtual Child project with other assignments and weekly online quizzes. F U N! It was an easy class with Novosad!!

Overall, she's not a bad professor, I just felt like she didn't really care most of the time. My class only met for 50 minutes once a week and she would come in and read off a powerpoint or have us work on a group assignment. Easy A if you do the work. 3 assignments a week, and 3 tests.

beyond horrible. one of the worst professors i have had here at SCSU. She is so disorganized and i honestly have no clue how she is the dept. chair. NEVER TAKE HER CLASS. nice lady, but this class is horrible and she confuses herself, let alone her students.

Worst professor ever. She is very unorganized; I do not know how she is the chair of the department. There is no book for the class just PowerPoints with confusing minimal notes. The wording of the tests are very confusing and not the same as on the review. Do not take any of her classes.

Beyond disorganized, i have no idea how she is chair of the psych department. A bunch of busy work class assignments and a large paper at the end of the semester that she gave 2 weeks before it was due. tests are MC and short answer. The class was very disorganized and she was always late. Don't take her unless you have to..or like chaos.

Good instructor. Clear and stimulating material and class discussions. Exams can be challenging for some, but if you use her study guides you should be ok. Attendence is mandatory in the sense that there are a lot of inclass assignments and can make/ break your grade. Can be unpredictable with her own attendence, but otherwise...I'd take her again

She emails the lesson to you before class, and goes over it in class. She doesn't take attendance but she gives in class assignments and open note quizzes that reward those that do go. And she doesn't make you buy the textbook. She made the material easy. Great teacher - I would take her again!

She's awesome. Totally understanding that you may have other responsibilities in your life other than school. Dosen't require the 150$ book, and sends out the power point presentations she does every dy in the class so you can print out and have the info.
