I took the hybrid version (1/2 in class, 1/2 online) version of this course. Yes there's a lot of assignments, but they're quick and easy to do, and you're only graded on completion. You won't need the textbooks. Professor Z taught us using a Spanish soap opera (Rubi) and it was very entertaining. Anyone who shows up and does the work can get an A

Very good teacher. I really enjoyed her classes and learned so much from them. She's funny and energetic, but she won't let you get away with slacking off, which I really appreciate! She makes the Spanish department the amazing thing it is!

Pretty easy stuff from her. I am horrible at Spanish, and always have been, and I still got an A-. The work is all online, due Sunday nights, and it takes maybe 1.5 hours each week to finish. You can do the work over and over so you can get an easy 100 for each assignment, it even gives you the right answers. Very easy stuff for little to no work

I've had Claire for 204, 303 and 300 and she's a very good teacher who is dedicated to the courses she teaches. I am always looking forward to taking a Spanish class with her b/c she wants everyone to do well and does a pretty good job motivating people. She can be strict and she can be lenient, do the work and you'll be good

I very much agree that Claire is a wonderful and very understanding teacher. I got an A in her class so I have no real complaints. Although at some times, her assignments and tests especially seemed too easy. She could have cracked down more and I feel like I would have learned more if she had made us memorize certain things. Overall...great!
