Easy A. Prepare your speeches, do your assignments. Very helpful especially if you have a fear of speaking in public. GREAT professor. Respectful and gives good tips at the end of your speech. Extremely fair grading system. Show up to class.

about 4 long speeches. 2 or 3 short 1min. speeches. 3 tests. some ppl failed the final and STILL not ONE person got anything lower than a B. i think that says a lot about easiness. he never really helped but he was neutral. a lil sarcastic. i HATED the class cuz of the ppl though but other than that it was ok.i would reccomend.

Mr. Cooper is very nice and helpful. I have an accent which i thought would be a great deal of a problem when making a speech, but i have never felt so comfortable in a class like the way i felt in Mr. Cooper's. ROCK ON MR. COOPER, YOU ARE THE BEST!!!

Mr. Cooper is the best speech teacher in SMC, but he only teaches Summer/Winter sessions. However, if you do speech on what he mentions on the first day of the class. You will get an A. Study all bold words' definition. Exam questions come from those definition.

Mr. Cooper, the nicest teacher on earth. He has a great sense of humor, and he goes out of his way to make everyone feel comfortable in class. 3 easy exams plus 5 speeches in the 6-week session. Highly recommanded. Most people get an "A" in my class...

(Winter 06')Aww!!!Mr. Cooper is absolutely 1 of the nicest people ever.We did 5 speeches and took 3 test.It's highly recommended u read for the test(hint hint).I was nervous,but he makes it so that you feel comfortable in front of the class.I absolutely recommend him.He only teaches during the Summer or Winter sessions. He's a really nice guy and his class isn't hard.You do have to study for the tests, do speeches, and have visuals when presenting. He makes you comfortable and it was a short semester, so it was fun! i recommend him, take him.

Simply the best! A kind hearted old man with a great sense of humor. Cooper definitely takes the sting out of this feared course. Don't let the previous posts fool you. You will have to work in this class: 3 tests & 6 speeches in a short semester. I had a great time and will ALWAYS remember what I learned in Coop's class. A+!

Coop is the best. If you ever have to take a speech class, he is the man. He is outgoing, funny, respectful, and all of the above. I REALLY HAD A GREAT TIME IN HIS CLASS, AND GETTING TO ADJUST WITH EVERYONE ELSE WORKED OUT PERFECT.
