Comment:

One of the worst professors Ive had. He is not accessible outside of class. He doesnt read your emails or will say he doesnt get them. If you want to come to class and argue over current events and todays world then his class is the right class for you. We never used the actual class period to do class work or work on any assignments.

He is ALWAYS contradicting himself and grading you harshly on the things he tells you to do, but then later can't remember what he said. You have to scream in class because he can't hear, & if you don't speak up, you'll get a B in the class for participation. He chooses students he doesn't like and is rude to them all semester. TAKE SOMEONE ELSE!

Professor cares about topic, but can't teach students. He did not understand circumstances, super harsh grades and does not post grades until the end of the semester. Speaks too softly and doesn't hear students half the time.

Dr. Fred can be a wonky grader on papers sometimes but he always gives you the option to rewrite to earn a higher grade if you need/want. His quizzes are take home but some of the questions go over things he said in class so attendance is a must. He's a very relaxed guy and really cares about what he is a teaching. I would definitely take him again

He is an okay professor. You will have one large paper that is a huge percentage of the grade. He talks quietly but has trouble hearing, so sit towards the front. He is not terrible, but I would not take him again.

Theres a lot of reading involved, expected for a lit class. He usually assigns 2-4 readings, but almost all are centered around the degradation of African Americans. He loves using the N word, so if youre easily offended this class isn't for you. Theres a quiz every Fri and telling what is included is hard. His voice doesn't carry so sit close.

Dr. Fred is absolutely amazing. In this class you have to come every day, and you have to do the nightly assigned readings. There are some readings that are assigned that are fairly long, but the majority take an hour or less to read. Quizzes are easy if you read and payed attention in class. Mid-termfinal is time consuming but easy as well.

I love this guy! He never shuts up and gets off topic often BUT he is the easiest grader I've ever had in my life and he is so nice. Basically a little old hippie. You can tell he has so much passion for what he's teaching and that's a rare quality these days. Cool guy, would recommend to anyone.

Very hard class. There is a longggg reading assignment every night. Quizzes every weel with hard to answer questions. Very hard grader and very confusing. Babbles alot in class and doesn't make sense. It's a very hard class.

He is a really awesome professor. He says the quiz answers right before you take them. Reading would help alot, but I rarely read every piece because there was quite a bit. He was super easy on grading papers. He is hilarious, some of the things he said were so off the wall that you will just sit there and laugh. I would definitely take him again!

Horrid teacher. He assigns wayyy too much reading and quiz questions are about the tiniest details in the readings. Grades are harsh. He does try to crack some jokes now and then though. But I never knew what he wanted from me. He would give me a B but tell me I was an awful writer. Then tell me my paper was ok and give me a C-.Didn't make sense.

Dr. Waage is the best professor I have had in my entire educational career. He is a brilliant man who knows his stuff. Don't expect an easy A, though. He is a tough grader on his papers, but always gives extremely constructive criticism, and you will read a lot. He is very helpful and understanding--always an email away. Take him, if you can.
