Claude is the epitome of a great teacher. I have taken many classes with this man and I'm sad to say he is retiring. He is the reason why I am becoming a hydrologist. His knowledge outweighs anything you could ever get from a book. Take him while you have the chance. He was like a father to me and it will be a sad day at Stockton when he is gone.

GREAT CLASS! epstein is so cool and relaxed. he is funny and easy to talk to. no exams, only papers which are super easy.. class is kind of boring sometimes, but it is an easy A. all we did every class was look at pictures and listen to music. if you need a easy GIS, this is the one.

Very passionate about every students learning the material. He introduces the material so that you can really question and think about it. Really learn alot from the course. No book just questions to answer every other week with given webpages, NO exams. Go to class and do the questions= easy A with alot of knowledge

Landscape and the Imagination. He said it was his favorite course to teach, I can see why. EASY! and fun, cool interesting. No textbook, if you miss class just let him know in advance and make up the work, no tests, just papers. you can even hand them in late and he doesnt care as long as you are reasonable. FUNNY AND AWESOME! TAKE IT!

What a great professor. The best professor stockton hired. His classes are meaningful and you actually are paying for knowledge and expereinces unlike most other classes taught by other instructors. What a great professor! Take him if you want to learn and have a great time. I have learned so much through his classes and will take more with him. Students learn without being tested, so the material actually is not forgotten after a test since there are none. Fieldtrips a plus as well as him helpfulness and friendliness. Overall great classes!

Lectures were long and booooooring. Has his moments and is funny at times. Somewhat interesting but most of the time the material will put you asleep. Take home exams.. hard if you don't have good notes and don't listen in class. overall would recommend taking him. Great guy.
