Comment:

Found his class to be pretty easy even though it does get boring. Don't know why some people are saying he's a hard grader because his midterm was extremely easy and as long as you actually write the terms he's looking for in the answer you will get full marks. Presentations are also a breeze in his class.

Pretty much ignores the textbook and grades based on disorganized scribbles he puts on the board on occasion, his slow long rambles, and his grading is based on his thoughts and ideas, not what you study in your course material. If you have him, attend class, record it, because your materials are useless if you want more than a B.Change section.

The class is really interesting, but AVOID HIM. He is a very hard marker, and only wants you to say what HE wants you to say in exams, or else it's wrong. In class, however, he is open to different points of views; quite the inconsistency.

This is absurd. The class has the easiest material you'll ever get in JMSB, not worth to teach a class about, but than the profesor will somehow give you a bad mark anyway! There were no B pluses in the freaking class! Getting a B in that classs??? WOW, I could have taken something more usuful and gotten a higher grade. What a waste of time!

Good teacher. He makes class somewhat interesting, involves the class as much as possible. End of class reports are an easy 10%, he writes the final which can help you in the end. Also very fast with his emails, he will answer any question you have about the business plan.

Very nice man. A little lost at times, and the class is not very interesting but its a smooth ride. 1 little essay a week, and 2 quizes/semester. Would take him again, but only because of light course load. He is monotone and sometimes very boring. Also not the easiest marker either.

absolutley uninteresting manner of teaching. Very into himself...doesn't seem to realize that people are extremly bored in his class. To top it off, he gives you a tricky quiz that is unclear. Guaranteed a B- or B. Forget about an A in thus course, no matter how much you try. Bad Teacher.

Marcotte is one of the worst profs I've ever had the mispleasure of taking a course from. He covers the material really slowly, he's a horrible marker and he's useless outside of class. Don't expect any guidance on the business plan. This guy sucks!

He is just a great person, one of the best teachers i met at concordia so far. His quizzes and end-of-class reports are easy points. Study seriously and you'll do fine. But do not expect an A in this class!
