Dr. Ingram is an excellent professor, and by far one of the best I've had at U of R. The methods she used in our senior seminar forced us to get extremely familiar with our selected texts and really flesh out an argument. The process of piecing together my capstone was coherent and orderly thanks to her guidance.

Claudia Ingram's American Literature class reminded me why I love academia. Before taking that course, I was struggling finding intellectual stimulation at the University of Redlands. I am beyond grateful to have had her. She assigns a good amount of reading and expects participation, but she makes you want to work for it.

Reading was interesting, her method of helping us plan out an essay was very useful to me. I am already pretty confident in my writing, but now I am more confident in my planning. Best class I took at this institution. She is very passionate about her field and her enthusiasm made me want to do my best. Most of the reading was handed out in class.

Class is interesting, but it felt a tad unorganized. Not too much discussion or enthusiasm from the students. There are not many activities past discussion. Would have loved to work with students on activities more. Interesting professor, but slightly intimidating. Is not afraid to speak without censoring herself. Can be understanding though.

Claudia is a great teacher, and so enthusiastic, but sometimes she can be a little unclear. Her class lacked structure and organization, which made it hard to get into. Also, it would be nice if the class had some sort of theme or uniting element, rather than just reading random poets. Overall, a great professor.
