Comment:
She is a nice and caring person, however I would not recommend taking one of her classes. I honestly do not think I learned much during this class. She struggled to form her thoughts into intelligible sentences most of the time. It is very hard to learn about abstract concepts from someone who does not seem to come to class prepared to teach.

Passionate professor who likes relating material to current examples. Disorganized teaching style which left us confused on how to study for the final, but once the class voiced its concerns she changed around the test to make it easier. Easy grader on papers which are the heaviest weighted category.

Literally 12 students in the class are here studying for the final and we have not learned a thing from this class. We spent most of the class talking about her instead of the content. She is very disorganized and takes weeks to grade one little assignment. She's a nice enough person she's just not a good teacher at all.

Literally is so discombobulated that she cannot form a sentence. Picture this as she tries to explain and detangle victorian novels and the homoeroticism in them for an entire semester.

I wasn't looking forward to taking this class because it was a requirement that didn't initially interest me, but I was pleasantly surprised by her passion and knowledge about the theories presented.I learned so much and it made me realize my passion for ETS

Not a bad prof, but assigned insane/unrealistic amounts of reading per each class meeting. The course I took required 9 books, too much reading to handle.

the texts she selected for our class were beyond boring and she did not explain the concepts well at all. the way she facilitates classes are so mundanely repetitive that half the class barely participates. overall a nice person but not a very good teacher. make sure you keep up with the readings.

One of the best professors I have ever had. Approachable. Knows the material and how to break it down for students. Took her class during 9/11... she stopped lessons for a week to allow us to talk and deal with the situtation. Will always remember that.
