If you need a religion 200 I would take this class! She is a very nice teacher and her assignments are not hard. She has a syllabus where you it like assigns homeworks and readings but she didnt really check if you did it. It only mattered if you did the group essay and the "What's Going On Here". She tells you what is on the test. TAKE HER!!!

Very nice woman and laid back class. Lectures convey basic information just make sure to take notes. Focus on each assignment because there's not a ton of them and they add up. Has 3 major essays throughout the semester, as long as you make them interesting and well written it's an easy A.

Dr. Setzer is an excellent professor. I took understanding the bible with her and I loved the class. The material is very interesting. Tough grader, she makes you work for a good grade. She is really nice and understanding as well.

I took her for Understanding the Bible and it was honestly the best choice I made. The class is an easy A. If you don't read the bible passages she wants you to read, then she'll get mad. They're simple and easy so read it. She was so good I decided to take her again for Judaism. She's so helpful! Her notes ARE kinda messy, but you can catch up.

Setzer is a very sweet woman, always ready to help, and gives a very, very, easy A. Her tests are usually multiple choice with an essay at the end and are VERY straightforward. If you pay attention in class you'll do well. Take her!

She is unorganized and doesn't know how to keep a class entertained. She is of no help with anything. Do NOT like this teacher one bit. She gives you whatever grade she pleases with nothing to back it up. Every person I spoke to got below a B in her class. Ridiculous for religion.

I had her for a special topic and seriously if I can take her again I would. She is not hard, only hard if you make her class be hard for you. She is helpful in and outside of class. Yes she tries her best to make the film part fun. If you participate in her class and do the weekly reaction paper it is a easy A class

So ridiculously boring. She tries really hard, and is very sweet but i dread this class. Tests aren't hard, she tells you exactly what is on them. FYI she requires a day to watch all the movies that you talk about outside of class. I had a class during that time so I had to find all movies on my own. so annoying.

Her tests are ridiculous to remember the information she teaches. The final is complete BS and there's no way you will pass it unless... also, she is very opinionated in her JUDAISM class and if you dont speak about the positive Jewish cultural aspects then she'll hold it against you. U are barely even allowed to leave the room to go the bathroom!

Her notes are disorganized and impossible to follow along. You get study guide for the tests but still don't really know what she wants. The grading on the tests is kind of a joke. There doesn't seem to be an rhyme/reason for the way she takes points off. If you compare graded tests and look at points, it makes absolutely NO sense.

I think she could be a pretty good teacher, but the stuff that she teaches is really dumbed down. Don't get me wrong, she is really nice, but the material we went over was stuff I learned in like 3rd grade. Personally, I like to be challenged a little more.

I love this woman! She's an easy teacher and really nice. She explains everything well and reviews for her tests the day before. Worst thing though is an 8pg paper due at the end of the semester. But other than that, she's great!
