Sweet lady, she knows the material, but cannot explain to a student who is unfamiliar with the subject. Would not recommend taking her course unless you are a genius.

Took her and it is the only class I have ever taken that the entire class flunked the test. Nothing in her lecture was on the test. She does not explain things well. Her tests did not follow the book. There are far better professors out there. Do not take her. I studied hard & got a C after struggling to figure out what the heck to do to pass.

DeAngelis is a SUPER sweet lady. Her teaching method however, is horrible. If you take her class, make sure you go in there knowing everything because she won't have time to explain. Most of us had no biology background, so we practically failed. I didn't want F on my transcript so I dropped.. BEWARE. DO NOT TAKE.

DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER! By far, the worst teacher I have ever had. Most the material on the tests is not covered in lecture or the book. I do not think she even makes the tests. She gets very sidetracked. She assumes you already know a lot of the material. If you take this class you will spend DAYS and HOURS studying and barely get by

DO NOT TAKE!!! Worst instructor I've had! Test are super hard and somethings we did not even cover. 50 multiple choice, 10 fill in the blank, and 5 essay questions. No review and does not stay focused in class. Lab is just as bad.

Comment:

Ms. DeAngelis is super funny, and makes the information easier to remember. Her labs are always interesting, and she is not afraid of getting her hands dirty. Her tests are not super difficult, and she gives a general review before each test.
