To arrogant to really be in touch with helping you learn the subject. He talked more about what he did then teaching us. He change the title of the class and we learned about the history of crime. We only talked about the death penalty for 30 mins.It was so much we could have learned but we didn't because of how he teaches.He belittles the students

Dr. Dorne is a great professor and he definately knows what he is talking about..all the time. He cares that you understand the material. He does not brag about having a ph.D- He simply brings it up when it seems kind of relevant to what he is talking about.

This man is not a good professor. He is boring, and thinks he is funny. The three things you will learn in the class is that he has a PHD, that he is the Assistant Dean, and that he is incharge of the new Simulator. I would not recommend taking one of his classes, he is "The Mini Corporal."

I have nothing nice to say about this professor. He needs to retire or quit. He is by far the worst teacher in the CJ department. I dont care if he's the assistant dean of CJ, he has no clue about reality. Maybe his PHD got stuck between his head and his a**.
