The semester I took this class, I got really sick and missed two weeks of school. Most of my professors cared less about helping me catch up. Stivers DID care. Go to class, participate, put effort into your work. The classwork isn't easy, but if he sees you care about the class and put in effort, he will work with you and help you. A very kind man

Dr. Stivers is seriously one of the most chill professors ever. He's so nice and does a good job of making clear of what is expected in the class. All in all a VERY easy class with no assignments except papers. He does a great job of making you feel like a person rather just a number in his class. Very personable and very cool. HIGHLY recommended.

What can I say? He's fantastic. Hilarious and make concepts easy to grasp even for those who don't know anything about the film industry. Made this Gen Ed painless, even pleasurable! I love this dude.

Clint is the best teacher at UT, no doubt. I had him for my UH 100 class in the fall and then signed up for him in the spring as well for UH 257. He is goofy,off the wall, obscene, outrageous, wears girly socks, loves Kentucky (boo). He grades sort of hard on papers, but he cuts some slack. He uses the words joker lots and often goes off on tangent

My favorite professor I've had here. He's completely off-the-wall and loses focus a lot, but he's hysterical and very obscene. He grades papers pretty stringently but just go to his office hours and ask for help and you'll be fine. I'd really recommend taking him.

He became my favorite professor this semester because of his outrageous personality and in-depth comments of The New Hollywood. He's someone you either love or hate, but most everyone in my class liked him. He influenced me to the point that I want to minor in Cinema Studies... take one of his classes if you can!

Let me just start out by saying this is one of the goofiest teachers I have ever had. He says the funniest things. His class is alot of fun and you learn ALOT. I had him for a Hollywood/movie class and really enjoyed it. Clint is real chill and puts alot of time into his students and his work. Great teacher.
