I took the honors section of micro w/ Campbell and loved it. He is a wonderful teacher and person who is really willing to help his students -- he will spend all the time you need going over something, especially in office hours. The first exam was the hardest but still very fair, THE EXAMS ARE BASED ON THE XRTA PROBLEMS HE ASSIGNS. Great teacher!!

Took the hnrs sect of micro with Campbell. Loved this class, considering majoring in econ because of him. Generous grader, very willing to help his students understand the material, and lays out exactly what you need to know for exams. Lectures get a bit boring at times but are very informative, I didn't need to read the textbook to understand.

I took Professor Campbell's class for Intro to Micro Honors section. He's a very knowledgeable professor who really knows his stuff. He's also a great teacher. His lectures are very thorough and even though they might get a bit dry once in a while, if you pay attention in class, and take notes, the exam should be very familiar. Loved the class.

He's a brilliant professor and the class is really interesting. I struggled with the material but it was definitely worth taking. Make sure you really understand Cournot's competition model and its variations. He is also very helpful outside of class.

Lectures can be quite dull, especially when he goes over simple mathematical concepts such as slope and probability. However, he does lay out what you need to know verbatim. He also provides study guides that very closely resemble his exams. Reading through these in their entirety before an exam are sufficient to do well in the course.

(Game theory 482 game theory 406) He's extremely knowledgeable. Game Theory is not an easy class, but the amount of work is very manageable (weekly homework, 2 exams, 1 final quiz during the last class -- NO FINAL IN BLOCK). I got 80s on the midterms, did well on HW, and killed the final quiz. Got an A. Don't get the textbook. Take notes in class

Extremely clear lectures and tries to help you out on exams as much as possible with excellent study guides. Tends to trail off at the end of sentences, so sit in the front of the class. Great guy, very helpful during office hours. Also a hunk.

He's a really excellent professor for Game Theory. All important concepts were explained clearly and he made them intuitive to learn. Attendance isn't mandatory, but it's pretty much required in order to get a good grade, since the textbook is garbage and all relevant material is learned in class.

I had him for Game Theory. The homework assignments were hard, but his tests were fair. Do not miss class. His notes are important to do well in the course. He explains things very well! He made game theory seem easy when he taught the material.

Great guy and really helpful. He is so nice, but can be a tad dry during lectures. It is actually really hard to concentrate during his lectures because of the way he gives lecturesspeaks, but if you do so, you should get a high grade.

This guy is really clear and really helpful, but that's because he's basically a talking textbook except he puts me to sleep faster. He knows his stuff really well and can really explain things. You don't really learn anything in lectures that isn't in the textbook, and whether its the material or his monotonal voice, I can't help but fall asleep.

JUST BECAUSE HIS OVERALL RATING IS GOOD DOESNT MEAN ANYTHING. His tests are hard, his online assignments are pointlessly annoying/hard, and his lectures a tad bit boring. As a result, there is a ridiculous curve. ~60/85 = B+

He's a great professor. He explains things very precisely and clearly, although is a bit monotonous. One thing about him is that he tends to run class late, so don't take a class on another campus directly after his class. Though 3 exams make up your whole grade, they aren't too difficult and he prepares you well for them. I highly recommend him.

He's a great lecturer?clear as a bell. I'd recommend this course to anyone who made it past calc2, because the material is both useful and beautiful. But beware: his problem sets and (one of his) exams were quite difficult. You must attend all lectures (since the textbook is awful) and keep up with the notes at all times in order to do well.

GREAT professor, my only problem is with his "curve". Basically, it only helps people that do poorly (70%) bumping them up to C+ or B. I got the class average on the first exam, but I got A's on the hw and over 96% on both the second exam and final, yet he only gave me a B+ (86%)! His curve only helps equalize the slackers with the good students.

Very good professor. Good at explaining complex concepts. My best friend at office hours. One of few professors who is worth visiting for office hours. Tendency to mumble, but HW is not too bad. Fair grader. Curves. Book is horrible. Attendance is not mandatory, but new concepts are covered at every class, and the book sucks, so go to class
