Comment:
The User-based Design course fundamentally changed my approach to information systems design and instructional design. I took the graduate-level course at age 47, so I guess you have to be a bit more grown up to appreciate the value of the research that is central to the subject matter. The better students "get it". Otherwise, stick to easy stuff.

The worst teacher that I ever had while at SU. There is no structure to any of his lectures, and no one in the class ever knows what is going on. Bombarded us with a presentation, a final test, and a final paper the last week of class. The test was 285 points and based on over 100 pages of articles he wrote. WORST CLASS EVER! DO NOT TAKE!

Worst teacher I have ever had during my four years at college. Only a narcissist would make us take an exam on his published works.

Nice guy. Boring. Keeps us late during night classes, teaching same thing every week, with new content MAYBE in the last half hour, then give assignments that make you want to rip your hair out.

Nice guy. Class is easy if you pay attention. He can get boring, though. But it's VERY easy to get an A as long as you do the work, which isn't terribly hard in the first place.

He's not a bad guy, but he's a lousy teacher. He's very, very boring. Each class was 15 minutes of information packed into an hour and a half. It could have been an interesting (or at least not excruciatingly boring) class if somebody taught it.
