Colin is one of the nicer, more personable profs at GWU (until there was a cheating scandal and he went into jerk mode). His teaching style didn't really work for me but most people seemed to like him a lot. Accounting is, for me, a very visual experience but he didn't use any slides and just wrote things on the board a bit haphazardly.

Awesome teacher. The exams can be a little difficult, but if you do all the online work and attend class, an A-B shouldn't be a problem. I missed the first exam, and still managed to pass. His lectures are long, but extremely helpful and clear, even with his British accent. I definately recommend him for eco182.

Uses an online course for extra help and extra grades along with his in class work. Online text book. Tests are difficult and you need to print out the text book and study. Tries to make sure everyone understands. Has a review class prior to all tests. Great curve for test and a very fair grader. Understood this was a freshman level class.

He is a nice professor and yes, he does have a british accent, but he is a bit confusing and as smart as he is, sometimes he goes so fast, through the math part. he makes minor mistakes, which is a big deal because it can affect your learning, if things don't work out. He gave our class extra credit because people did bad, but I don't think it help

He's not what you call a "lecturer". He just speaks from knowledge. There aren't many notes, but you have to attentive at all times. It's an otherwise easy class, and his exams aren't bad.

Nice, good looking guy, w/a cute accent doent necessarily mean good professor. There r 4 exams (noncumulative) worth 25% each, so thats it for ur grade. Doesnt post grades, very unorganized, unresponsive & doesnt use UBlearns. Also doesnt respond to e-mails & screws up final grades badly due to unorganization & then wont respond to you about it.

4 exams make up entire grade, and some of the questions can be tricky (I have not seen one person get a perfect score on an exam). Holds in class reviews before exams and gives a decent curve. One of those classes that you actually have to attend to do well. Entertaining man with a hot accent!!

Bloody hell, a Brit! Yes, he does know his stuff, I liked how he relates economic themes to real-life situations (ex. Enron, Haliburton). Exams are tricky though, and I don't see why we have a final (there are 3 exams already, and the last one is the week before finals). A good teacher for micro.
