BY FAR THE MOST DEDICATED AND AMAZING TEACHER. She is phenomenal!! I have tremendous respect for this woman. If you want your technique to improve, then you have to take her. She pays attention to those who are working hard, and if you're not she'll inspire you to work hard.She's a gem!

Ms. S is an awesome teacher, she doesn't work a whole lot on technique and instead places emphasis on variation. Contrary to what some say, she doesn't have favorites she just puts more attention on those who actually MAKE AN EFFORT. Those who try to get their leg up to their ear and wish to improve get her enthusiastic. GREAT CLASS :) ILY Ms. S!

Professor S. is actually a great teacher. Before I took her class I read a lot of bad reviews about her. She does have a blunt personality and she can def come off as rude esp if she feels like your question is dumb. she can be very sarcastic or mean but its not exactly towards you but its just how she is. don't take anything she says personally. W

She is an amazing teacher. Has a good grading system. Uses blackboard, so you can easily look up how she grades and what she expects from her students. She challenges you physically and gradually helps you improve your technique. Compliments you for what you do right. And corrects most of what you do wrong. MRS. S = LOVE FOR DANCE!

Colleen is amazing! I can understand why some people may not mesh with her personality, she can be spicy, but she is an excellent teacher. She helped me improve my technique immensely. Her classes are fun, challenging and WILL improve you as a dancer. Good dance teachers are strict and demanding I think it shows they care. LOVE LOVE LOVE her class!

TAKE HER FOR BALLET, she is inspirational and so talented, she is capable to demonstrate how to do the movement (jaw drop), show interest and put all your effort and shewill appreciate it, she takes you to the next level (beginner-advanced & Advanced-professional level) and she is the only dance instructor on campus that is capable to do it ;) A++

OK! THE BOOOMB!!... the best so clearly, everything so exact and precise, fun class but you have to study and attend, her class prepares you to UNIVERSITY FORMAT CLASS, and makes her class fun she KNOWS what she's doing and you can tell, NO TEXTBOOK .. Awesome teacher, you have to take her if you are willing to learn about ballet and how to do amazing moves. Very helpful, mid term Barre terminolgy is hard, Ballet center final is a challenge but worth every min of it. It was a combo class and at first was worried about that, but it turned out better that way. Ballet for dummies helps :)

She doesnt have favorites based on talent. She simply pays attention to those who take the class seriously. Ballet isnt a joke and its not easy. If you respect the art and her then you will enjoy the class, and find it eaiser to take other ballet classes. She is a great dance instructor and you can tell that she is experianced. She is the BEST!

If your looking for a class that will give you a general outlook at dance then this is for you. You'll have to do some work but it's mostly "what do you think about this/that." The test are purely memorization from notes, No book required. If you don't give an S%^# about learning anything about dance, take someone easier.

Stuck up and not a pleasant woman. She can be really mean and make nasty comments. Treated the pianist like dirt most of the time. If you really want to learn ballet though, she will teach it. Take her class if you are serious about learning ballet and are prepared to work. You won't like her personality but you will learn to dance.

I had an A, she gave B. SHE lost an assignment of mine. I showed her my disk I had done the assignment on and the receipt that I had attended the show. She wouldnt accept it, though SHE had lost the paper. Messed up my GPA! Also, then lectured in her class on MY research for Irish dance, almost word for word. Plagerism??? Snotty too.
