All of the HW is group work (in-class) and highly depends on peers, regardless of their effort. Forced to be in a group. Lectures were incessant and off-topic; lacking interests and hard to understand her key points. Not responsive to any type of communication outside of class. Her office remains dark, vacant, or locked (scheduled). Be careful.

A more laid-back, easy-going professor you will almost certainly never find. Professor Slater's teaching style is decidedly disorganized and unplanned. With that said, she is a fair grader, and truly cares about each of her students. You do have to come to every class with the assignment read, or else you may do poorly during class activities.

Very easy class. Tests are directly from the book and you can use your book/notes on the tests. Assignments are very simple and don't take long to complete. Doesn't have us do any papers or projects. Does a lot of in class activities that are sometimes worth points so I wouldn't miss class. She's very nice and has a good sense of humor.

She was non responsive when needed (this was an online class). I sent several emails, with no response. the class itself is easy. However she does not put up grades on a regular basis. my class just finished, and we only have the first 3 assignments graded.

Overall she is a very nice person and easy to deal with and talk to, however she procrastinates on grading assignments, always cancels class, and seems very confused at times on topics she's teaching.

I'd have to recommend "shopping" for a more qualified professor, should you be taking classes for an Office Professional certification. She failed to grade our assignments, did not post comments, and lectured twice during the semester. What's more, I passed her course, with little to no help from her. If you want to teach yourself then take her.

She's a good teacher. Easy with attendance, and very helpful if you have a problem. However, she has her own schedule when it comes to grading papers. If you like constant feedback, it will drive you nuts. Otherwise, she really knows her stuff, and gives help when needed.

This is the worst class I have had. Stressful. She expects way too much work every week. This is the internet course. She has not graded anyhting including the mid-term test. I have no idea where I stand. Sure, she lets you re-do your work,but I have nothing to re-do at this point. We will all be scrambling to correct our papers in the last week.

A bit disorganized as far as grading goes. More than halfway through the semester and still no assignments were graded! Rarely got back to you if you had a question, and if she did, it was long after you needed the help! Online class - worked at own pace, three trys to get best score on test. So EASY (If you like Word)!!!

TALKS AND TALKS AND TALKS nice teacher though she kept us after class like 15 times because she just keeps on rambling easy test but you should read the book! i never even buoght one its pricey and i did fine i like the class though mainly because there was real cool people made class fun could careless if you go to class just make it for tests!
