Comment:

Schober was very caring and clearly laid out exactly what we need to know for the class. Sometimes a bit fast during examples but will answer any questions you have in class or office hours. Quizzes or projects once a week, usually comes from book/hw. Tests sometimes a bit long, but overall very fair.

Comment:

Dr. Schober was very kind and clear during her lectures. She gave quizzes every week and gave decent notice up to her exams. The exams were pretty similar to the homework, and if you did it, you should do well. The only funky thing were her projects, as the grading on them was not always too clear.

She's pretty slow in classes, you barely solve 2-3 questions each class, however, let me put it this way, the tests come straight from the homework, so if you do the homework, you get easy A.

She was pretty meh overall. Her tests came from the HW, which was alright - nothing too difficult. She's really bad at proof writing for a professor though or at least displayed poor knowledge in the realm of complex analysis, she could be better for other classes. She's a pretty nice person; just not the best professor.

Took her for matrix and linear algebra. You must know EVERYTHING for the tests. Homework and quizzes were similar types of questions, but nothing like the suggested practice problems and nothing like the test. Do every problem you can find to prepare for the test.

Dr. Schober is easily one of the best math profs I have ever had. She has a genuine interest in her students and goes to great lengths to make sure they are able to succeed in her class. Her lectures are clear and she is very approachable after class and in office hours. If you get the chance you should absolutely take a class with her.

She has higher expectations of her students than most other Calculus professors. Her class is definitely not easy and her tests aren't the easiest either.She grades really hard on the tests and doesn't curve or give any extra credit.(she might provide some sort of credit at the end if the class shows they've tried hard)

GREAT PROFESSOR! If every UCF Math professor could be like Dr. Schober, every Math major would be successful in their classes. She's incredibly clear and prepares her students for the tests. Dr. Schober is a gift to the UCF Math Department!

She speaks perfect english! lol I think the she taught the material very well, tests came right from homework so do the homework! 5 tests all worth 20% so dont rely on final exam to boost grade. I would recommend her to anybody.

Great Professor, very clear explenation of what was going on in class, assigns a lot of HW does not collect it, but if you do it you will do good in the class, Tests come from mid hw problems, not the most difficult but not the easiest. If you go to class and pay attention you should pass

Boring teacher and teaches ok.Test questions came from hw problems. Occasionally drops the lowest scored problem of each person on test, but no curves.Husband sub once and it was ok.He teaches the same way she does.Check your tests after you recieve them back.TA sometimes marks off stupid things and she would give back the pts.I recommend taken her

Tests come from the easiest homework problems. If you can do the homework then an A on the test shouldn't be a problem. She is EXCELLENT at explaining the concepts and if you weren't the best at Calc 2 dont worry because she doesn't put tricky integrals on the tests. GREAT math professor, take her!!!!

A very good and very fair instructor. If you do the homework right, you will pass the tests easily. She is always willing to answer questions in class. Somehow, she manages to hold the attention of the class for the duration despite the dry, almost monotone voice that she uses. It's not strictly necessary to attend lectures, but it may help.

ok professor, but her husband sucks at teaching, whenever he shows up class = waste of time. tests come out of the homework give or take. fairly eazy. i pulled a B and barely did anything. all nighters be4 the tests doing the hmwk was about it.
