He is an awesome professor and very kind. The notebook is extremely difficult to keep up with given your workload and plan to pull an allnighter or two if you fall way behind. Attendance, the Notebook, Midterm (paper) and Final (paper) are 100% of the grade, so absolutely no surprises! Highly recommended

Cares more about the future of his students than any other professor - allotted a whole class period for us to discuss choosing the following semester's classes. No homework or classwork - just a midterm, final, and a sonuvab*tch notebook due at the end of the year. He's a nice guy, but neither an easy grader nor an easy A.
