I loved this class! I had the best group of people and became friends with many of the people in the class. Joan is so nice and always willing to help! There is no homework ever but keep up with making your dance for the final or you will fall behind. I wish I could take this class again, so easy!

I took this course - Dance & Movement in 2014 and it is really fun if you put a little effort in. Literally, do the weird dances and make up a dance and you will be fine! Find a group of people to work with that seems like they will do the project with you and you will get a good grade. Make sure you keep up with the syllabus. Barely any homework!

The class really is challenging for all levels even experienced dancers had trouble with her plies! There is a lot of work involved with the final project. My partner and I worked at least 3 hours a week on it. The combinations taught in class are strange. No technique is involved at all. The classes build on each other so don't miss! I got an A-

great lady weird teacher. considering how scatterbrained she acts, her plan for class was amazingly thorough. sadly, she has trouble getting her point across to the class becuz she is so artistic and thinks everyone will understand her vision. yet, oh so helpful if asked for help outside class, if you can get her attention that is.

She is really strange. The dance class builds over time, so you miss a class you are lost. She gets really pissy if you don't participate as much as she thinks you should. I would not take her again.

I found her to be absolutely ridiculous. She clearly played favorites, and pulled grades out of a hat..for a dance class! (and the dances she makes you do are quite..umm..strange)
