Incredibly boring. Would not stop talking about how the US government doesn't fund research anymore and cis-platin. Probably spoke about inorganic chemistry maybe half the time and spent the other time rambling on about nothing. Doesn't care about what you learn and doesn't try and hide it. Stay away if possible. Class is not impossible though

Comment:
He was sooo boring and too smart for his own good. He's used to dealing with graduate students and it shows when he explains the material and it makes the material seem more difficult than it is. Even though he'll probably bore you into submission, I would strongly suggest going to class anyway.

Extremely boring. Had to resort to learning outside of class because I wasn't learning from the lectures. Not great at teaching basic chemistry, though he's an awesome researcher. He also had technology issues (e-mail often didn't work, no set office hours, had to miss class). Lectures were structured around the other profs powerpoints. Nice though

I thought he was a pretty good presenter. Told jokes every now and then. Although . . . his tests are disproportionately difficult relative to his easy-going lectures...
