i absolutely love this guy. hes hilarious and cuts you a break when you need it. he takes attendance but it doesnt effect your grade. he'll help you as much as he possibly can if you ask him to. he actually wrote the book for the class but he doesnt use it much. hes old but he understands how college kids work. i really hope i get to see him again

I had Dr. Thompson for many classes and he was did a great job at taking really big idea and presenting them to us so we could understand them. He always assumed we could learn even when teaching extremely hard topics.

Doc Thompson was a great professor for religion classes..he was always encouraging us to think and question the info given and to make our own decisions and form our own beliefs. As someone who is not a christian per se, I really appreciated that.

He's a nice guy and all, but when he showed the picture of President Bush dressed up as a terrorist in a Global lecture on religious fundamentalism, I lost a lot of respect for him. That useless class is no place for personal opinions and propaganda
