His lectures are great, helpful if you go to his office, and there're lots of extra points you can get if you need them, but watch out for those tests! Put in the required time you will know this stuff cold, it helps alot with future physics or engr classes. Go to his office and get to know him, he's willing to help with classes other than his own.

His lectures are great. I like all the practical applications. The tests will kill you though. Thank goodness for all the easy points like notes and problem sets.

Understands what he teaches and is very helpful if you go to see him. Some of the other people already mentioned this but his tests are a little too long for the time alotted. He tends to assign a lot of stuff. The class isn't as hard if you've had some physics classes before.

worst teacher ive EVER had, and his tests are crap he gives you 45 min for a 14 question test and words things in the most confusing way posible. avoid him like the plague

The most painful experience of my life. I spend at least 3 times as much time on this class than all my other classes combined. Very thorough, but this class has, for lack of a better phrase, made my semester a living hell. He's thorough, but at great cost to student sanity.
