Choi is a very knowldegable person. He has wonder research and knows what he's doing...except when it comes to teaching. He has no personality and is a total jerk when you try to visit him in his office. He is more concerned about his pride than his students well being.

CY is a nice guy, and he tries really hard to make economics interesting. It is, however, a very boring class and if you don't read the text and pay attention you will struggle.

I thought he was a good teacher. He tries hard to explain things. If he doesn't and you tellhim,he'llgo over it in class once again. Homework assignments are not that bad. Tests aren't either, you just gotta go to class. Available by email and answers any questions. Pretty fair guy, i found him to be very nice and helpful. He offers extra credit in

This class was extremely hard with no opportunities for extra credit or extra help. Choi didn't seem to understand that some people are not geniouses at economics! He's pretty funny and tries to be nice SOMETIMES, but the class is difficult.

Choi is a nice guy, but I thought the class was really hard. Sometimes he was unclear during class. He was helpful though, and set up weekly sessions with me to help me - not that it did much good in terms of its effect on my grade. When he gets excited about econ there's this foamy spit that forms on the left corner of his mouth. Don't know why.

This guy is pretty funny and real nice. His accent is not a problem at all. Hes not exactly the best teacher but it was really easy to get an A. I struggled in micro with a different professor and breezed through macro with Choi. His tets arent that bad if you go to class. I would reccomend Choi.
