Love her. Dives straight into the text, loses train of thought often but always heading for a point. She has real sympathy and respect for her students, and it shows in her lecture style and the assignments she sets. Short essays based on close readings of texts are her favourite. A total joy.

Loved her and her sense of humour is great. She'll break out into a little laugh every once in awhile. She's a great prof, clean and concise and she has no qualms about helping you out if you need it. The material for the course is great, and she knows her stuff!

She was interesting as a person but her class was boring and disorganized. She also tends to give the same mark all year. Someone I know submitted the same project for her class and an other class. She gave a C+, the other teacher gave an A. I would not take another of her class.

I had her in my first year and in my third year. I actually couldn't stand her at first, but that quickly changed. She is the BEST prof at York. A big asset. Always, my fav will be Yellow Wallpaper. If she reads this, she prob knows who this is.

This is the first time I've had Zimmerman, and I love her! She'll be standing there, saying nothing, then just break out into a little laughter..it's great! She's very intuitive, and passionate about her job. She's very helpful and goes into depth.

Zimmerman is great! I had her in first year, and again this year and she is so much fun, for Canadian Theatre she's great, she really KNOWS what she's talking about, and this year we had several great guest speakers! A+ :D

By far, the best professor I have ever had. Dynamic, funny and a genius, I have had her twice and will sign up for any class with her as the professor, even if the subject does not interest me, because she is amazing. Take one of her courses if possible!!
