So, you will probably do fine in this class if you have prior experience with film and editing. However, since I did not, I found it really hard to learn from him as he is often all over the place. He is interesting and zany, but the class is only easy if you already know what you're doing.

He was my favorite professor this semester. Sometimes confusing and hard to understand, but if you ask questions, he is always there for you. Goes by "Bob". A project based class. You give what you get. Loved this class!

Professor Bob is a great guy - funny, friendly, down to earth, and a fairly good teacher. I learned quite a bit from him but he tends to be a bit sporadic and rambles a lot! Overall, pretty good professor.

Despite his many tangents and the time lost in class due to his wandering thoughts, this professor as been the most helpful to me. Bob is a true, down-to-earth person with much wisdom and is extremely friendly and caring. He shows interest and excitement for everything his students do-he truly cares. I strongly suggest you meet him.

Bob is a great guy who knows basically everything there is to know about Film/Video. He is helpful when you ask. But when it comes to his 3 hour lectures, they are useless. He can't teach what he knows and often times spends the majority of the class hopping around the room as if being attacked by dragons. Probably the acid...

Great guy who really knows his stuff-BUT has a hard time teaching what he knows. He's disorganized and most of class is wasted on endless tangents. If you do the readings you can basically teach yourself and you'll be okay. If you rely on him to teach you, you'll be lost.

Seriously, Bob is the man. Take a class with him. He's goofy, and very non-linear, but also very intilligent. Very open, flexible, and fair. His classes are as hard as you want them to be, but you can learn a lot from him. There is no BS with Bob.

This guy is krazy. He must shoot up and smoke before class. He's really interesting until he gives you directions because he doesn't even know what the hell he's talking about because he's too busy thinking when he's going to smoke up again. I wouldn't say that he's the greatest teacher in the world, but he's not bad. He was much more interested in foriegn films then mainstreams stuff which was kind of distracting because i spent more time reading the subtitles then looking for what he wanted us to take notice of. And sometimes I don't think he explains stuff well, but if you ask him questions he's knows we're not following and goes into more detail. A good think is though if your not satisfied with a project he lets you redo it.
