I have only been taking this course for a month and I already feel the need to say how incredible Professor Depue is. Class is interesting and I actually look forward to going. I am not a nerd, I don't love to study but this class is awesome. Reading the textbook helps but if you don't go to class, good luck.

ok I loved DePue! I was originally nervous about her class but theres honestly nothing to stress about! Just go to every class- its only once a week and she only lectures for about an hour and a half... Those lectures are basically the essay questions on the exam so pay attention and honestly she's a sweetheart and wants everyone to do well!

This lady is the bees knees. She is super interested in her field and is an actual lawyer so is really knowledgable. She kinda reminds me of Meryl Streep she's just happy to be teaching and enjoys herself. Lots of reading and lectures are long if you take it over winter session. Not a hard class, take it with her if you can! She rocks!!!

Never met for full 3 hours. I didn't buy the textbook and got above and 85 on every exam. Overall, not a bad class. The material is actually pretty interesting. Studied the day of the exams for 2-3 hours and got a B in the class.

Took her 3 hr section on thursday nights. Thought this class would be awful but it was actually very interesting and you are learning material that matters in your everyday life. Always get out early I don't think we ever did a full 3 hrs. 3 tests and a paper. Go to class, you don't have to read all the texts but skim it, study and you will do well

Material can be dry but she really tries to make it fun and applicable to students. Tests are tough, but she'll give you as many points as she can because she genuinely wants you to do well. Super nice, funny, and knowledgable. Not an easy A but nothing crazy either. One short paper and 3 exams.

Lectures can be a little long, but rarely boring and very informational. She will automatically see when we are drifting off and will make sure we are entertained. She really understands the students. I'm not an accounting major/minor and was never interested in Law, but i loved this class! Even through a 3 hour class, I would take this class again

Took this class over winter session and was not bad at all. Just showed up to every class, took notes, and studied for a couple of hours before each test. The tests are 20-25% multiple choice and 75-80% writing. You will need to write a lot but she grades generously. 3 exams, one small summary paper on an undecided case, not too bad at all.

DePue is amazing! She let's you out early every class. Reading the text book is a must to get a good grade. 3 exams (including non-cumulative final), one easy 2 page paper. She has such a quirky personality & tries to make the material as interesting as possible! I really enjoyed her&this class (and I thought it was going to be rough)! I recommend!

3 hour monday night class- she lets you out pretty early most days and tries to be entertaining. also lets you miss like 3 classes. she's very nice and very helpful. she tells you what to focus on for the exam and grades very fairly. 3 exams, and 1 case presentation & essay (easy). highly recommend

Loved this class! The tests are mostly essay questions but she grades so fairly. You could a question answer wrong and still get almost full credit if you supported your point. Just read the textbook a day or two before and its an easy A! She's also so friendly and personable. I always looked forward to this class and I normally never go to class!

Good teacher, explains the material you should know and glosses over stuff she probably won't test on. There's a lot to cover & she makes it interesting. If you ask questions in class it goes by faster. Tests are long but fair. Not an easy A but pretty easy to get a B/B plus if you go to class and study. Would recommend.

Lawyers make great professors! She always has interesting stories to add on to topic in her lecture. Class = midterm (half/half MC & T/F and essay questions (1 big one & several short essay questions)) + essay project & presentation (select two supreme court cases and present one case to class) + final exam (less MC & more short answers)

One of the best professors Ive had at UD. Her lectures are interesting and she explains the material well. She is very helpful but her tests are a somewhat difficult since more then half is essay, however she grades very fairly. Take this class with her, DePue is awesome

Not a bad class. Just bring you're laptop and try to follow along with her notes. They're useful because she covers stuff not in the book. Changes tests, but get old ones so you have a better idea. Overall not bad at all, 3 tests, no final.

had the class monday nights, most of the time we got out when Kent was still open, but NEVER until the 3 hours. 1-2 chapters per week, and the chapters were not long at all (like 20 pages at most). tests are annoying because her essays have to be argued for both sides (because of this, but this, but then this, etc).
