Cindy is now the director of the LVN to RN program at Mission and I could not be more happy. She is so amazing and the best nursing instructor I have ever had. She is a little scary because she is so smart and wonderful, but it is good to be a little nervous...keeps you on your toes!

Cindy (queen of shoes) the best instructor ever. Talking 1 million words a minute, you really gotta pay attention in lecture. Great sense of humor, profoundly intimidating at first,you bet-cha; know your skills, know sterile technique. She builds confidence and pushes students to apply their theory into clinical with rationale.

Cindy is one of the best instructors in the program. she goes extents to explain material. if you do reading before the lecture, and pay attention to the lecture--easy "A". She is strict but very thorough and helpful. She is fair in her decisions. She knows what she is doing and very confident. I loved her.

Excellent teacher. I learned so much from her. Breaks things down so they are easily understood. Expects you to know your stuff on the floor. Will help you if you ask. Very nice even brings treats to class.

Cindy is a great teacher, but she expects a lot from her students. So if you are lazy you probably won't like her. You will learn a lot from her and she is fair. She wants you to be prepared and step up to the challenge of nursing. She can be tough so don't be a whiner because she will teach more than any other instructor if you are motivated!

We are taught that confidentiality is crucial, Ms. Harrison likes picking our her pet students, and then informing them of other students grades, and whether she will pass them or not. I plan on filing a formal complaint. And yes she does get physical.
