The people leaving good reviews about this teach must have been paid to do it, because she is just awful. Her lectures are confusing and she does not really explain anything very well, goes on frequent tangents off subject and you are left with Connect as your only resource and even her powerpoints are confusing. Do not have this professor!

Comment:

She is very challenging, many people failed her class and once they took it again by another professor they passed. It's all about memorization, every week in lab there is a quiz and it's not multiple choice. You don't have to go to the lectures, but it helps. She barely goes through the power points. Connect is your only help. Bad at explaining.

She didn't grade any of the homework. We didn't do any labs in the lab, and we had to give each other lab quizzes. She rambled a lot during class and hardly did any lecturing after that. She made us all feel as if we should already know everything before her class. Which made it very hard to understand her lectures to their fullest.

Good Professor, she knew what she was talking about and was always excited to teach the class. My Recommendation is to always go to her class prepared and always be interactive in her labs because that can earn you extra points. Only negative is that she made me feel like I was dumb when going over quizzes in the lab.

Assignments are relevant to the corresponding textbook material, very concise and easy to navigate. The layout of this online course is incredibly easy and enjoyable to use. Pairing with Chem 100 online was a manageable course combination, however I would not recommend overloading yourself with anything else. Take the time to truly understand it.

Very helpful. She wants every student to succeed, and she is very clear about assignments. She's great at mixing things up in class so you don't get bored. She's very organized and driven. Great teacher. She truly loves anatomy, which is why she's such a great anatomy teacher!

Be ready to work because this class is not for the faint of heart. If you plan to not study and sit around YOU WILL FAIL! She likes those that help themselves and if your questions are good then she is ok. If you ask a 'easy' question it's in your textbook. This class is COLLEGE LEVEL.

She knows her stuff, but makes you feel stupid when you ask a question. She speeds through PPTs and doesn't explain things well. Be prepared to teach yourself everything for better understanding because she won't help you without making you feel dumb. I would highly recommended taking anatomy with any other possible teacher.

I took this Anatomy course online thinking it wouldn't take as much time but I was wrong. It was extremely hard but it was not easy. If you plan on spending A LOT of time studying on your own then the online would work. The teacher was not very helpful when it came to taking tests, emailing and sorts so try another teacher if possible.

I took Bio 201 online because this is the only school where I could do A&P online. I did OK but I worked hard. My only complaint with the course was the disorganization and lack of clarity with assignments and dates. Also we used a new book that the pages did not match our study guide.

This teacher has high expectations of her students but she holds herself to the same high standards. She is a quick grader and is avalible for students. I took her class over a year ago and I can still accurately recall most of what I learned in her class! She may be tough but if you really want to retain information... she's the best!

Comment:

Don't take the online class. Teacher is absent, the class is more expensive and the online discussion boards are worse than lame. You have to teach yourself everything--and she is slow to respond on questions. I have had way better online teachers.
