I'm so thankful to have been a part of Dr. Huffman's class. He wants his students to succeed in and enjoy their college experience. He knows so much about the topic of genealogy, and his enthusiasm for it is contagious! It's a hands on and rewarding class, he's quick to respond to email, and his office hours are always worth it. Loved this FYS!

I do really appreciate the way Prof Huffman teaches. He understands the process of learning a new language. He teaches so that is not only easier to learn, but also easier to understand. He creates an environment of enthusiasm for learning, appreciation for growing, and room for making mistakes along the way :) He genuinely cares for students!

Loves what he teaches and does a good job at getting students involved. Tests are reasonable and class time was always productive. Very helpful with clearing up texts. Also, he's willing to admit when he's wrong or when he doesn't understand something. Great prof!

Had him a few years ago for Greco-Roman. One of the best profs I have ever had! He is friendly, knowledgable, and incredibly organized. I would take him again! The only people who don't love his classes are those who don't want to work!

Had to comment to balance out these ridiculous accusations. Huffman is an amazing professor, the ideal historian. Any student that takes their education seriously will have no problem with his classes, and he is extremely helpful in any situation. He is incredibly knowledgeable yet not intimidating. Don't base your opinion on those absurd insults.

After reading the previous comments, I was scared to take Dr. Huffman for Latin. But those comments are completely false. He is a sweet man who truly cares about your education. He is so soft-spoken that you could never imagine him raising his voice. His Latin II class is a pushover if you study. And he is fun to talk to outside of class!
