She can be tough Im sure but the reviews do her no justic. A well informed psychologist with many helpful stories. She holds no punches and is very open. A true representation of some of the people you will work with in the professional field. Very personable.

Goes off topic a lot when lecturing, but her stories are very helpful for studying. Her test questions are almost all application, so pay attention to the examples she gives during her lectures. She offers a lot of bonus opportunities during the semester so take advantage of those every chance you get. Don't skip, ESPECIALLY ON QUIZ BOWL DAYS!!!

She is very hard and a tough grader. I am taking the summer course and I have to go on mindtap everyday to keep up with the reading. She also has a quiz and discussion board every week. It is just a lot even for a summer course. I followed all the criteria for the discussion board and I still failed.

She does not offer study guides to the tests and is very harsh at grading case studies and It takes a while to get your grades back. Very strict on no cellphones and will target individual students and take phones. She also takes attendance everyday and can be very rude. Overall, the class was a learning experience and she explains the material.

Dr. Lindsey knows what she's talking about, and I did learn a lot with the class. I do not like her as a teacher. She is very rude, and does not give proper feedback for assignments. Her tests have no study guide, you definitely need the book, and she does not seem eager to help if you need it. She also does not grade in an efficient time.

Very good professor in my opinion but a lot of my classmates failed. Played a fun game before test day to quiz us. History of psych was SO boring she would almost put me to sleep every morning. Very big on NO CELL PHONE. She loves group projects which I hate.

She is hard. I had to take abnormal twice. she thought I was cheating the first time and I honestly wasn't. NEVER want to take her again. but I loved her for History of Psych.

Dr. Lindsey is a credit to her profession and to NSU. I took her Statistics and Abnormal Psych classes and she was very helpful in both (especially Stats). Her classes are not hard. Read and follow her notes and you will do fine in her classes.

Comment:
Dr. Lindsey is a credit to her profession. She is helpful and very involved in her classes. You can tell that she wishes her students to be successful. Her classes are well laid out. Some of the assignments were difficult, but she was very helpful and prompt emailing back. She also offered extra credit opportunities. Excellent online professor.

Dr. Lindsey is a great professor. She is helpful when you have questions and she explains things until you understand them. She made Abnormal Psychology very interesting. The tests were always easy if you study. We also watched movies on our own time for quizzes in class, which made the disorders that we studied more interesting.
