This was one of easiest 4.0s ever. He was always late. At least one answer on each question of his MC tests was a crap answer. And he is hillarious. One time he went and yelled at a grounds keeper for mowing the lawn during class! All he had to do was shut the door to drown out the sound.

sure he knows the stuff but apparently he doesn't believe that he needs to teach it to you. he'll talk in class about the most random things that have nothing to do with the subject and then there'll be a ton of stuff on the tests that hadn't even been mentioned in class. avoid if you value your current GPA

He always came in late. it was fun to sit and listen to him lecture. after tests you could usually leave but, if he has stuff to teach after the test he passes around a sign in sheet for those who stay. get a friend to sign you in

my only real complaint was there was never a day that he wasnt late. he was ALWAYS at least 15-20 minutes late. the material is easy, exams were simple. in class became kind of redundant and boring bc he basically repeated the reading, but its interesting

Niven stopped arriving late after he was reported to admin. Good class, not that difficult and niven definately likes astronomy and gets a little wierd every now and then but is overall good.

Prof. Niven does always show up 10-15 minutes late, but if you take the evening class twice a week, that doesn't effect the material. Explained everying thoroughly, fair testing (scantron), easy to get a good grade if you show up and listen. No real reason to read book though...

Dr. Niven is a very laid back guy who is excellent at cleary delivering content. Great math teacher, but show up 10 minutes late since he will.
